About AMI Paddleboard

    Welcome to AMI Paddleboard! We are excited to offer standup paddleboarding (SUP) and kayaking experiences on Anna Maria Island, Florida. Our goal is to make these enjoyable water sports accessible to everyone, whether you’re a local or visiting our beautiful island.

Both paddleboarding and kayaking are great activities for all ages and skill levels. With just a board or kayak, a paddle, and some water, along with a brief safety lesson from our experienced instructors, you’ll be well-prepared to explore the stunning waterways surrounding us.

At AMI Paddleboard, we provide a variety of experiences to suit different interests:

• Mangrove Eco Tours: Discover the local estuaries and the diverse wildlife that inhabit them. Our guided trips will take you through beautiful mangrove tunnels and the shallow seagrasses. Where we can find starfish, crabs, and many types of whelks. 

• Glass Bottom Kayaks: Try our unique glass bottom kayaks, which allow you to be fully immersed in the natural beauty around and beneath you as you paddle.

• SUP and Kayak Rentals: Explore at your own pace with our rental options for both paddleboards and kayaks.

• Happy Hour Dolphin and Manatee Tours: Join us for guided tours that showcase the rich ecosystem of Anna Maria Island. Head to the sandbar with us for some shelling, we may find Sand Dollars, whelks, and conchs. While we are always on the look out for Dolphins and Manatees.

• Anna Maria Island and Longboat Key Rentals: Enjoy a tranquil paddling experience at your own pace in the beautiful waters of our barrier islands. Rentals start at 24hrs and go up to 7 Days

Having had our family on Anna Maria Island since the 1950s, my wife and I are dedicated to sharing the beauty of this area with you. We take pride in sharing the island’s history and educating both locals and visitors on how to help our beautiful waters and wildlife thrive. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities, and we are here to assist with any questions you may have.
